There's never been a course like this. For the first time in history, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus have teamed together and built The King & The Bear at World Golf Village. The two golf legends have collaborated on a truly remarkable course of unparalleled beauty, challenge, and design. The course features loblolly pines and open meadows on the front nine while the natural beauty of 200-year-old live oaks with vast, shady canopies perfectly complement the back. Simply awesome!

The World Golf Village is considered the most ambitious golf project in the history of the game. The first course, The Slammer and The Squire, was designed by architect Bobby Weed and named for golf legends Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. Golfers of all levels are provided a challenge, yet five sets of tees allow the player to choose a length to meet his or her ability. If the ambiance of the World Golf Village is not enough, the service-oriented approach of the course will impress all visitors.

The newest Tom Fazio Championship Golf Course in North Florida opened in February 2006. The private gated golf community boasts a layout that stretches over 7,100 yards from the back tees and features wide rolling fairways, dramatic bunkering, pristine wetlands and lakes, and undulating greens. The course offers five sets of tees and will challenge while maintaining playability for almost every level of golfer. The course maintains a low country feel with its many pines, oaks, magnolias, and sweet bays. The additional red buds, dogwoods, ligustrums, and azaleas offer that distinct southern flavor. The course routes around and through the 265 acres of pristine wetland habitat found on the property. Amelia National is immaculately maintained with attention to every detail, the course is sure to be a favorite for all who get to play it.

Eagle Landing Golf Club is another outstanding course from architect Clyde Johnston. Built in Oakleaf Plantation in Jacksonville, this 7,037-yard course presents a round of golf that meanders around lakes, tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. In classic Clyde Johnston fashion, the layout becomes progressively harder from the front nine to the back. Offering six sets of tees, players have the option to play the course as easy or difficult as desired. After golf, players can unwind in the magnificent clubhouse's sports bar or in the elegant restaurant overlooking a sparkling lake and lush fairways. Whatever your reason is to visit Florida's First Coast, you need to put Eagle Landing Golf Club on your "to-do" list.

The folks at North Hampton promise "you'll be treated like royalty" when you play this design by the "King" himself, Arnold Palmer. The par-72 layout weaves its way through ten spring-fed lakes lined by coquina boulders and wild grasses with rolling fairways and elevation changes of over 40 feet. With TifEagle greens and tip-top overall course conditioning, North Hampton continues to be one of our most popular choices for golf in the Jacksonville area. We think you'll agree; this Arnold Palmer Signature Course is the stuff that legends are made of.

The Golf Club at South Hampton is another great Mark McCumber design found in the Jacksonville area. The course features 16 large lakes and over sixty contoured bunkers surrounded by acres of tall pines and native oaks. The designer's intent is to present every golfer the appropriate risk, offering encouragement to the novice while still challenging the experienced player. All players will have to watch out for the 571-yard 17th, a brutal five par that is definitely one of the toughest holes in the area.
